Windows XP versus Windows 7

i have abobe reader 10 installed on xp development machine , on test windows 7 machine.  downloaded sdk adobe acrobat x.  converted 2 sample projects, activeviewvb , acrobatactivexvb visual studio 2008 visual studio 2010.  able run both project sucessfully on xp machine, encounter errros when running projects on windows 7 machine.  activeviewvb projects has "cannot create activex component" error, while acrobatactivexvb has "this program has stopped working" error.

 

why these samples work on xp machine not on windows 7 machine?

probably because have acrobat on xp machine not on win7 machine.  , activeview requires acrobat.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
