Anchoring a full page image

i'm doing full length book includes full page images referenced text on facing page. want anchor them in such way when create ebook, full page image in @ least reasonable proximity text references it. don't want inline because don't want potentially giant white space. available options 'custom' anchoring don't make sense me situation. (but then, newbie id.) suggestions? thanx!

you'll need anchor graphics keep them in same text stream in epub file. if you're using indesign cs5.5 or later, click on blue square @ upper right of frame , drag anchor. use object export options set attributes anchored graphic including spacing.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
