Can't find acrobat updates!!!

i had pop said needed install adobe acrobat & reader app. update. problem i've looked on system , can't find anywhere says there update needs installed. missing obvious or stupid beginning think am? maybe have been looking @ way long , need walk away. please has got idea missing? if can go ahead , e-mail me directly at: junebuginsac@gmail.com

if e-mail link update, careful. there 2 ways update acrobat. 1. inside acrobat use help>updates. 2. download updates http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=windows. should installed in order. if not sure ones needed, start current download , tell previous version required , work way version. speaking, need reboot after last update, though asked periodically.

 

the link above can used determine if need update. link check need. discourage getting updates in other way -- may getting virus. of course, of assumes have acrobat (or reader -- different forum). if on mac, there similar update link mac updates (just replace windows macintosh).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
