CS 6 Illustrator Crashes

we have intel imac 27" running mac os x 10.6.8 using abobe cs6 illusrator, our workflow print files our imagesetters create postscipt files, have 2 identical macs, 1 of them when try , create postecript file illustrator crashes, tried obvious delete prefs , of stuff, nothing helps, open file in cs5 , ok, postscipt file creates fine, cs 6 crashes.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
