Dreamweaver 8 upgrade

for number of years have been using dreamweaver 8 create run website (hinckleyramblers.org.uk).my computer runs on xp.i now

need buy new computer think dreamweaver 8 not compatable wth windows 8.

can upgrade newer version ok windows 7 or 8.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
