License Error

just trying download book stationary office. download starts pops following message:

 

error getting license. license server communications problem. e_adept_type_unknown

 

any ideas guys?

typically helpful ade error message.

 

something try.

have registered adobeid ade (digital editions).

if not, , try download again.

 

if have; ade may have got muddled up.

try ctrl-shift-d ade (cmd-shift-d if on mac) remove existing possibly muddled registration.

restart ade.

reregister adobeid.

try download again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
