Lightbox size and position

hello,

 

i've been having couple issues big lightbox i'm working on. first thing lightbox doesn't allow me modify it's size @ will, i've attached 2 pictures explain better, in left 1 can see how black space there below text, whilst in right picture can see i'm trying reduce size won't work, box automatically jumps original size.

my second problem related lightbox positioning, starts in top of pace , start lower, possible modify auto-centered position of lightbox?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
