i've been having problems flash applications on browsers past year or two. happens when flash video starts, browser lag periodically. sound present, video freeze, , not able switch tabs, click on buttons etc. noticable on youtube @ first, it's occuring other sites, , it's annoying when site has flash ads , causes entire browsing experience slow crawl. isn't firefox problem, i've tried ie , google chrome well, , have tried different internet connections. i've tried various suggestions fix it, such turning off hardware acceleration, uninstalling reinstalling flash , shockwave, reinstalling video codecs, have no effect. can me problem, driving me nuts! browsers updated latest version, flash player version 11.7.700.169, , using windows 7 pro (6.1, build 7601).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
