Reloading CS 6

my old computer crashed last week.  received new computer on friday , need reinstall cs 6.

not sure how go doing that. 

step 1: old computer alive? if can bring online moment, , launch cs6 application, such photoshop, , choose > deactivate. if can this, it'll save chat customer support folks. see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html

 

step 2: on new computer, start installing software using discs/electronic downloads may have. enter serial number, , you're set. if need locating serial number, see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
