Thread: 10.04 Intermittent crashing - screen goes black, unresponsive
hi everyone,
running ubuntu 10.04 and, ever since last update few days ago, have been experiencing periodic severe crashes. screen goes black and, when press menu button on monitor itself, says not receiving signal computer. doesn't respond mouse or keyboard , have hold power button down long time shut off.
has else had kind of problem? how can fix it?

edit: tried system diagnostic tool hitting f12 during bootup. got halfway through checking full memory test , crashed again.
try making sure memory seated.
way, using apple mouse? wondering because in system information provided, says "macintosh mouse button emulation".
