Thread: Empathy + Yahoo = broken?

after opening laptop today noticed i'm no longer able connect yahoo account on empathy. password good, i'm able log website without issue know it's not simple.

there have been no changes @ empathy config. stopped working of sudden. know yahoo likes stir things every once in while , change login servers or ports make third party life suck, i'm thinking might problem. have info on how connected?

edit: problem solved today. no idea why.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
