Thread: how do install bin file?

hi there

have bin file ( install program linux) have moved memory stick home folder. when right click file , set permissions allow "executing file program" , double click file run warning dialog shows stating "could not display etc. etc." - file of unknown type!

can program installed?

dont know how input code in terminal?

or there way of doing this?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
