Thread: Running into a wall with proxy setup

hi,

attempting set-up proxy using google apps , haven't found documentation guides linux user through performing this. using guide directed @ windows users , able until step 7 , need help!

seperate guide explains how install , run google apps cannot command work

"export path=$path:/home/computer_name/desktop/google_appengine/"

replaced appropriate values own , still nothing. terminal returns with

"user@user-to-be-filled-by-o-e-m:~$"

want program working can setup proxy! doing wrong?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
