Thread: Taskbar ordering?

hi,

when installed ubuntu studio menu icon sat @ left of taskbar (which @ top of window), clock , stuff on right, , app icons filled space between started them. however, recently, , not having done deliberately i'm aware of, menu icon has moved right , sits next clock , network stuff app icons being placed left of both of them (starting left end of bar). hope can picture scene description.

now, can move icon left, app icons still want sit left of icon, disappear until move menu icon on right. i've looked @ options in admin , preferences panels can't see way put way was. want menu icon on left app icons on right!

gnome panel 2.32.1, ubuntu 11.04

to answer own question, had right click @ left end of taskbar , uncheck lock panel, right click menu icon , select move, , drag on left. i'm happy again. although i've kinda got used being on right ....

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
