Thread: Ubuntu server project

hi everyone, i'm trying configure first server installation few things i'm not sure how accomplish it. please have , let me know if can suggest anything.

of issues stem not knowing commands, i'm working on that.

here to-do list:

1. need change listen port ssh connections 5837
2. i've installed apache, need display index.html file when server accessed via web browser.
3. i've installed ebox, have no clue how configure allow administration through it.
4. i've installed samba, again, have no clue how configure it.

i can ssh thing.

if installed `openssh-server`, find file `/etc/ssh/sshd_config` , edit superuser: `sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config`

modify sshd_config file's port lines say:

port 5837

do: `sudo service ssh restart`.

fix ssh port up.
(note: not type ` characters, i'm using denote commands, file paths, etc. in post only)
