flash help

after installing flash, version 11.7.700 on dell pc, runs windows xp, internet explorer web browser, pc not boot now.  hear fans turn on, there no green light lit on front of computer, , no beeping sounds , screen black.  idea going on?

i think coincidence; installing flash player not cause such malfunction.

 

if happening me contact dell.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
