Flash player update popups

i keep gettig flash player update window in ie 8 telling me it's required update flash player 12. update not available on website. virus imitating

adobe flash. if not how can stop it! annoying me. ed cooper : [email address removed]

there no flash player 12; latest version 11.7.

 

is perhaps shockwave player wants update?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
