Flash Player Virus Bug?

i have not been able install flash-player since beginning of april. when download file website (http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/) save desktop easy access. when run file normal security warning asking if want run file. click "run" , windows comes asking if want install file. file location install c:/appdata/temp , details "remove desktop." how change install directory? have tried know how , have not been successful. please advise

try using offline installer(s) http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#mai n-pars_header (under heading progress bar hangs...).

 

if error persists, please post screenshot of these unusual messages.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
