Opacity of Text

is there way edit text opacity in acrobat???

opacity isn't feature of individual glyphs in text object, it's feature of parent container.

 

while there no 'alpha' control in color pickers acrobat's editing tools can't change transparency type, edit text , images tool in acrobat xi respect properties of whatever it's editing - if original 50% transparent, new characters added 50% transparent. respects gradient fills, adapting reference points add or remove characters.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
