PS6 Newbie, 4 things I couldn't figure out how to do...

1. how snap shape center of document? there way eyeballing it?
2. how undo more 1 click ago? seems allow me once - (this isn't case in elements )
3. is there search option in layers panel can search specific text? or type of layer? there anyway make layer thumbnails bigger can see??
4. how unmerge when you've merged (commande) layers?

i might can couple of questions...

 

1. far know there no snap feature in ps align in center of document do. first make sure rulers turned on click , drag on ruler drag vertical guide out. snap when gets center of document. next same horazontal guide. after have guides can hit command t on mac control t on pc find center of object , place @ center of guides.

 

2. undo or command z undo 1 step, ps has called "history" window. go under window>history if don't see it. can many steps like. default number of steps set history remeber 20 think, can go in prefrences set high 200 beleve. caution can slow down ps or say. have ps set remeber 100.

 

3.as far know there no search function in layers panel. never thought improvement in program if considered doing it. , dont beleve there away make thumbnails bigger i'm not 100% on i'm not in front of ps right now.

 

4. once merge layers it's final there no unmerge. step in history mentioned before.
