i want simple application allows me see ip of pidgin/kopete etc speaking @ moment
know wireshark it's complex me.

not solution , responding mentioned wireshark.

ip level, im pretty sure (open correction) packets when trace them, dont come client sending message.
if signed via pidgin msn or aim or irc etc, packets come location such aim or msn service not sending user.

packet capture wouldnt work you.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
