i installed ubuntu 6.10, system 64 bit , ubuntu 32 bit, read reason network card not detecting lan connection, how can unistall ubunta til right 64 os. windows not open in daul boot.

you should install newer version of ubuntu. 6.10 no longer supported , there serious security risks. think 10.04 oldest version still supported.

also, can install 64 bit version of ubuntu.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
