Thread: OpenVPN connection won't work through firewall

i've done fresh install of 11.10 , i've set vpn openvpn works fine.

problem comes when try tunnel traffic through firewall on port 1194 - no connection @ all.

doing in 10.10, , can't see i'm doing differently isn't working

if ufw set allow out, vpn works fine.

when deny outgoing except udp 1194 no traffic @ all.

don't know how set before or after rules in firewall configs - problem?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
