Thread: Task Manager And System Profiler Only Shows Half My RAM,

in task manager, on bar shows total ram usage, shows "x/938 mb", "x" amount of ram in use system , 938 task manager thinks actual ram capacity is. system profiler , benchmark shows 961296 kb total memory. i've had 2 gb of ram on machine years , never happened.

32 bit lubuntu.

if more information needed please let me know!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
