Thread: Wifi and bluetooth issue with aspire 5310

alright, im pretty new these forums please bear me
installed copy of ubuntu on acer aspire 5310 laptop, specifications follows:
intel celeron m @ 1.6ghz
512mb ddr2
80gb hard drive
ubuntu 11.10 installed...
now, upon installing operating system, had make sure working, checked basics...audio, video, internet etc
encountered issue, wi-fi , bluetooth not working....i had installed firmware ubuntu had suggested..(broadcom sta wireless driver) have no idea why not scanning wireless router , why when go bluetooth options tells me theres no adapter...o.o
wi-fi device is...acer invilink™ 802.11b/g
