Audio controls missing in dialog (Part 2)

the audio dialog box missing control close. tried follow directions rename captivate folder in users/myname/appdata/local/adobe folder (win7). found there 3 folders captivate: captivate 6.0 (date october 2012 when did trial), captivate 6.0 (x64) dated  yesterday when re-installed it, , headlesscaptivate 6.0x64 folder dated yesterday empty.

the "rename folder adobe 6.1" solution provided forum member did not work. should delete captivate 6 folders in adddata/local/adobe location, uninstall, , reinstall whole works (again)?

it seems preferences issue.

you can rename of these folders adobe captivate 6_ old or name, rename them. captivate should closed while renaming them.

 

then run adobe captivate administrator , check audio editor.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
