Can't make this error stop?

yesterday, photoshop cs6 (13.1.2 x64), today i'm receiving following message time open raw (.nef) or .psd file.

i've gone far reset preferences selecting cntl-alt-shift (pc) after starting photoshop; didn't fix problem.

yesterday installed premiere pro cs6 edit video. morning, photoshop requested linking(?) program , 1 other did.

nothing else has been done differently since installed new photoshop version adobe cloud in february, 2013.

any suggestions?

os:              windows 8

memory:      16 gb ram

c: drive       10 gb free

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
