… not level of stability have come appreciate!

i'm updating toc style. esc, o, p, d opens designer usual, , double-click on highlighted new tab stop opens edit tab stop dialog  – far good. enter new position , click on alignment or leader radio button, , designer disappears.

i click on [continue] anyway, , open designer again: alignment , leader settings have not been changed.

i have of course closed , restarted fm before posting, in case punishing me moving tab stops in ruler. no improvement.

i feel irritated enough roll sleeves , wrestle mif see whether can settings want, if has tips on what's going on , how avoid …

p.s. fwiw, before had noticed clicking in toc entry, opening paragraph designer , clicking in entry different style closing designer instead of updating designer properties of second style

i've tested fm 11.0.1 , para designer stays open. make difference whether have para designer docked or floating?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
