Thread: broken apt-get aptitude and dpkg

i have been messing g around linux on tablet had working fine until had restore tablet , had reinstall startup script think happened installer linux installer replaced /etc/apt/sources.list file debian 1 , when tried install gnash tried reinstall system packard , messed package management programs.

not apt-get update

fixed sources.list not update apt-cache says

e:method http has died unexpectedly!

dpkg won't install packages because says libudev0 empty package

selecting deselected package multiarch-support.
(reading database ... dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
unable open files list file package `libudev0': input/output error
root@galoula-armel:/#

think if install libudev0 fix not sure how without dpkg can work command line because have basic tools on gui half of system , have packages need think have no way of installing them , sensor based system.

thank in advance
