hello,

system 76 laptop integrated camera , microphone, running ubuntu 11.10. started 10.10 , have upgraded twice. don't know if either of them ever worked, though assuming did when purchased new 1 year ago.

want use skype, neither device working, , have no software check them. can tell me how troubleshoot find out if work or not, , how "turn them on"? can't find installed software uses microphone or camera.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
