Thread: Cannot connect to WPA encrypted router with Netgear WNA3100

hi all

i've been trying every source possible find solution this. i'm running ubuntu 11.04 , have bought netgear n300 usb adapter, various sources i've found out wna3100. i've installed windows xp driver, bcmwlhigh5.inf cd, has been suggested many, , tried bcmn43xx32.inf. both of these have no problem installing using either ndiswrapper or graphical interface version ndisgtk (wireless network drivers). adapter recognised , finds plenty of wifi signals (lots distance away, unit seems pretty good), can't connect wpa2 encrypted d-link router. asks passkey, correct, , doesn't connect. i've turned off encryption , connects fine. have seen few suggestions should set router pure wpa2, rather wpa/wpa2 encryption, unfortunately can't find option doing router. has else had problems, or more solved problems, type of usb wifi adapter connecting wifi routers?

thanks
colin
