Thread: CPU Crash in Lubuntu using LibreOffice Calc

hi, all!

lubuntu install on laptop (a toshiba satellite a-100) has little problem time time when i'm using libreoffice calc. if use long enough, cpu seems plugged. @ least bar on conky display showing cpu usage goes solid.

seems happen when i'm using calc. i've not seen happen other app on lubuntu install.

anyway, when happens, lubuntu won't respond kind of input , have power down computer , reboot it.

know why lubuntu behave way? wondering if, perhaps, sort of java problem? because if i'm doing major revision spreadsheet file, graphics display becomes quite sluggish.

, there sort of solution preventing little "oopsies" happening again?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
