have checked updates days , find getting error message.

w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/p...source/sources 404 not found
, w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/p...-i386/packages 404 not found
, e:some index files failed download. have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

reading question

avent laptop 3gb ram 250mb hard drive.

according directory listing at: http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/dists/ oneiric distribution isn't in repositories.

have xmbc installed? easiest thing disable repository in software sources. this, can open ubuntu software centre, go edit menu, choose software sources , click other software tab. deselect repository.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
