i installed nvidia graphic driver in "additional hardware" brought more delay system. removed driver same dialogue box , restarted system , not unity not loading. black window.

unity 2d though works fine. other installing nvidia restricted drivers through command line again?

you cannot have unity 3d working without proprietary nvidia driver "additional drivers". if can access unity 2d, can go "additional drivers" there , install driver.

delay of system talking about. without driver, using unity 2d, driver using unity 3d. if video card weak, nvidia drivers, things may slow unity 3d.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
