Thread: Logitech wireless mouse started freezing when inactive and not connected to AC power


(ubuntu 11.10, 3.0.0-14-generic x86-64, sony vaio vpcz13, logitech m180 wireless mouse)

mouse has started freezing when using laptop battery. after not moving mouse couple of seconds, when try move mouse, takes second or 2 start moving. before, there no lag @ (and there still isn't in other operating system).

appears in syslog during freeze:

what i've tried far:

there's nothing eye in /var/log/apt/term.log reeks culprit:

any ideas do? i'd grateful tips!

, yeah, tried changing mouse battery too. didn't help.

i had problem, , traced having installed laptop-mode-tools. uninstalling reverted behavior normal. have no idea script in laptop-mode-tools causes acpi fluctuation sure annoying.
