Thread: Mouse pointer size

is there , easy way make pointer little bigger? have in system setting, advanced setting , myunity. not see it?. have ubuntu 11.10 want , don't want take chance on messing up. if not easy no. no big deal.

you install chameleon-cursor-theme, either through synaptic or running following in terminal...

sudo apt-get install chameleon-cursor-theme

that install cursor theme in several different colors , 3 different sizes (small, regular, large). check in settings>mouse change ther cursor theme, or if setting doesn't exist (i don't run ubuntu these days) in terminal run...

update-alternatives --config x-cursor-theme

that present list of installed cursors, choose number of theme , press enter. believe you'll have logout/login activate theme, whichever method use.

if decide don't of them, run update-alternatives command again, believe choosing 1 restore default theme. if not, run...

sudo apt-get purge chameleon-cursor-theme

... , logout/login again.
