this should simple. i'd start printer settings gui root can change printer settings. however, don't know name of darn program, , no when start applications: system settings. name of program can found in menu, 1 seems have none. ubuntu 11.10.

know how use gksu start it, long have name of it!

in 10.04 (lucid) is: system-config-printer

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
