somehow messed default screen resolution(display settings) xfce session. when try login screen goes blank. note have no problems logging ubuntu or gnome classic. idea how fix. sure there simple solution cant figure out/tks

okay fixed sort of. first had uninstall enlightment, still have problem. when log xfce , @ least can. desktop wallpaper distorted, upper left 1/4 of desktop displays current wallpaper in distorted view.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
