wondering if there text editor out there preserve indentation when line wrap occurs?

know libre/open office this, but, apps bit heavy liking since class notes.

edit: starting vim might able this, if so, might end being convert. i'm still researching.

when have update wiki found same issue. far haven't found light weight editor need, use "fold" command in terminal wrap text me.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
