Thread: Ubuntu and Windows XP dual boot problem

i had windows xp installed , installed ubuntu 11.10. but, screen choose os boot not appear , ubuntu automatically boots. have option boot both oses. have checked grub.cfg file , not find anything...could me?

i´m not @ ubuntu comp right now,so read https://help.ubuntu.com/community/gr...#timed_display

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
