Thread: Volume wavers on audio playback

i have begun notice whenever play audio files of file format or media player audio dip , rise in volume @ regular intervals. i'm not sure if inadvertently installed causing seems happen audio files , nothing else. can fix or narrow down possible suspects?

sounds audio files have drm digital restrictive/ rights management.

if it's not that, may mean have surround sound set on receiver, using 2 speakers.

if that's case, needs set stereo.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
