Trying to open a TIF file in 32 bit PS, keeps opening in 64 bit

i have tried changing file type associations in windows, changing file type associations in bridge, changing registry, right clicking , selecting open with, , nothing works. way can drag file 32 bit ps icon. how make 32 bit default version opens?

 

windows 7 64 bit

the paths should controlled in registry. make sure correct:

 

32-bit photoshop: hkey_local_machine\software\wow6432node\adobe\photoshop\60.0\

64-bit photoshop: hkey_local_machine\software\adobe\photoshop\60.0\

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
