Where are my characters? Captivate 6

hello,

 

i have elearning assets along characters folder installed on computer.  within captivate, however, nothing happens when click on insert --> characters.  guess captivate can't find folder when click on characters, , therefore nothing happens...  if true, should move my characters folder to?    if isn't case, there other suggestions out there might me  out?

\users\public\public documents\\adobe\elearning assets\

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
