Adjustment Layer crash with MB Looks applied

i've been trying add adjustment layer sequence , apply magic bullet looks layer color correct footage below in 1 fell swoop (rather apply clips individually). sequence 7 minutes long, , 1080p24; footage h.264 files direct canon 7d (not transcoded). every time paste looks effect onto adjustment layer crashes program. if turn off preview layer it's fine, minute try preview effect crashes program.

 

both ppro , looks up-to-date, , restart did not help. matter of ram, horsepower , trying color correct h.264 footage in 1 go? have older mac pro (see specs below) don't know if can't handle task. i've seen others have problems adjustment layers -- looks plugin? or limitations memory or graphics card?

 

macpro 2.66 quad core, 12gb ram (7gb avail ppro), osx 10.6, ati radeon 3870

fyi, talking red giant support this. recommended downloading latest version of mb looks (didn't realize mine sligtly out of date) , changing processing option gpu cpu.

 

but, main thing said looks never meant function on adjustment layer this, it's best apply individual clips.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
