Edge Animate - future perspective

i'm using edge since beta versions etc. , internet user , developer on 17 years doing web stuff have few comments share edge animate.

in short don't it, don't see purpose of it.

 

first of have flash can , beyond that, adobe should have done implement better export options flash , problem solved.

edge animate 1.5 has many issues don't know start, gui (user interface) functions, bugs , problems...

to consider there more flash developers, designers, animators edge animate, think better make similar flash devs better understand functionality.

i don't know works @ adobe, write 30 maybe 40 pages explaining wrong , how can better, , have people on salary there perhaps 50 of them working on edge animate couldn't figure out issues...

 

i don't know start flash's timeline waaay better, more advanced, more flexible etc..

simply can't compare edge animate anything, except flash version 2 or maybe 3.0 90's, i've red few articles online that, offered coding option similar ooold flash 3.0.

 

i have no idea why waste of time , money developing new scratch, when have top notch professional tool should have been upgraded better html5 export or js.

 

tip adobe: if want continue working on edge animate , not make same mistake livemotion, proper expert positions of project manager or product manager, because current one(s) don't see obvious mistakes in first version, , belive salary folks have experience hired work on such product...

at risk of getting flamed or starting war, thought i'd give of thought :-)

 

i have been designing/developing more 18 years.  i've seen great changes on years , not good!

 

i feel if adobe thought there way keep flash running on devices other desktops, have.  after all, stated, flash stable, mature , powerful software application.

 

you stated flash still available developers , that's great.  think, however, @ point many of rather build our projects once , not have 1 built in flash , in edge work on other devices.  of course,there will times when perhaps flash alternative projects.

 

as edge animate.  young application, trying utilize young html5 , css3 (i know, know - have been around - i'm talking browser implementation of these 2 , "standardization").  they(the adobe edge team) trying write application different browsers continually upgrade standards of use, can bit hard do!

 

i think when @ age of edge (it got going time in 2012), rather remarkable can stable does!  it's not edge - adobe has been working on several "edge" products enhance line i'll stick edge moment.

 

over past year , half, edge has come long way , 1 quite pleased development roadmap.  i'm quite pleased (and bit surprised given maturity of application) @ "cleanliness" of code produced!

i feeling edge team, along wanting add many features can each release, has been focused rather on stability - stability problems have had turned out own doing!

 

so hat's off edge team; both have come in such short amount of time , going!  not mention participation here on discussion list - shows (to me) personal level, or desire, keep close designers using edge know doing , need go!
