No Options Available in Initial View Tab?

help!

 

recently upgraded acrobat xi.  created new form scratch in livecycle, opened in acrobat change initial view navigation pane expanded (so users see attachment, because not getting instructions click on paperclip); however, none of initial view options available me, first.  can't change way form displays @ all.  have tried setting , removing security, see if jog loose, no dice.  suggestions appreciated, , i've reached terminal level of frustration.  i'm sure it's simple i'm overlooking....hoping, anyhow!

if make form in livecycle designer, must in designer. isn't normal pdf more. isn't editable in acrobat ever again. if want that, make form in acrobat.

 

if must xfa form, perhaps can control these things in javascript.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
