photoshop psd has ghosted effect on background printed in Illustrator

photoshop psd has multiple layers on transparent background. when place file in illustrator cs6 on colored background shows transparent on computer when print can see transparent area of file ligher color around image in box effect background color layered over. i'm doing revisions on file , not sure if need flatten before print each time. have high resolution checked when printing. photoshop image cmyk.

do research "yucky discolored box syndrome". solutions find indesign can applied illustrator well.
