Should both the ActiveX AND Plug-in versions of Flash Player be installed? If so, how?

(os win 7 64 bit / ie 10 32 bit / java 32 bit ver 7 u/d 21 / flash player win 1.7.700.169)  the issue inability register new citibank aadvantage card on-line on citicards.com.  after entering card's 16-digit a/c number , clicking continue, nothing happens.  citicard techs trying fix said java or flash player not functioning citicard’s system requires.  yet both apps check out on java , adobe sites.  all ssl , tls boxes in both ie , java settings checked.  activex filtering unchecked. flash player settings show activex version installed.  there question whether both versions had be.  if so, how done?

 

the flash player activex component internet explorer, plugin other browsers firefox.

 

i don't know not working on citibank page; can try set ie10 compatibility mode; see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-10

 

alternatively try accessing different browser firefox (which require flash player plugin).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
