Thread: 11.04 ProFTPd with GADMIN-ProFTPd GUI Error

i have installed proftpd , gadmin-proftpd gui using following command:

sudo apt-get install proftpd gadmin-proftpd

found website:

...and started following it's instructions until point in asks me click activate button. whenever click button spits out error:



do now? thank in advance may provide.

i seem have fixed issue hitting apply button within certificate section instead of overlying apply button. activate button activates ftp server. unfortunately, typing in server's ip address instructed:

ftp://192.168.1.100:21

...which nothing on either server or other computers on network. can issue?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
