do intel graphics 3000 card support 3d, , can have 3d cube effects on ubuntu card?

have install compiz , activated 3d cube , 3d cube rotate, wobbly windows etc, desktop, though can rotated, in 2d, mean not in shape of cube rather it's fliping paper.

why?

your driver loaded , running card not correct. going have internet search , see linux driver appropriate graphics chipset.

if list following:
lspcii -nn | grep vga
lshw -c display

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
